Job Description

The Warehouse Associate supports the daily operations of Illumination Health + Home by maintaining organized supply systems, coordinating inventory, and assisting with the flow of materials across programs. This role focuses on core warehouse functions, including receiving, stocking, preparing, and staging items, as well as supporting other departments in the field to ensure safe and efficient operations for both staff and clients.

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - 22.00 per hour, depending on experience.
The schedule for this role is Monday - Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm.


Responsibilities

  • Receive, unpack, label, and store incoming supplies, furniture, and equipment.

  • Conduct regular inventory checks and maintain accurate stock records.

  • Stage materials for projects, client intake, or cross-departmental needs.

  • Rotate and organize supplies to ensure accessibility and reduce waste.

  • Prepare and stage items for delivery or transfer to multiple IHH sites.

  • Load and unload company vehicles safely and efficiently.

  • Assist housing and shelter teams by preparing and moving furniture for client intake.

  • Collaborate with facilities and staff to stage and transport equipment for maintenance and repairs.

  • Provide additional support to other departments during high-demand projects or emergencies.

Abilities/ Knowledge

  • Ability to make decisions, meet targets, and perform effectively under pressure.

  • Execute logistics for event setup and teardown efficiently.

  • Demonstrate a sense of urgency, adaptability, and comfort with ambiguity while staying aligned with the agency’s mission and ethics.

  • Maintain efficiency while managing a high-capacity workload.

Preferred Experience/Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Customer relations skills
  • Strong self-management skills
  • Current CA Driver's License
