Warehouse Assistant

Sharjah, United Arab Emirates

Key Responsibilities:

1. Receive, inspect, and store incoming goods and materials.

2. Prepare and pack orders for dispatch according to company standards.

3. Issuing materials and supplies to various departments as needed.

4. Properly storing, shelving, and labeling stock.

5. Maintaining accurate computerized and manual inventory records.

6. Managing the storage layout and ensuring organized allocation of inventory.

7. Implementing stock rotation (e.g., First-In, First-Out - FIFO) and managing surplus or expired stock.

8. Coordinate with the accounts and purchase team regarding inventory updates.

9. Ensure the warehouse is well-organized and maintained professionally.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in warehouse/store operations preferred.
  • Basic computer knowledge; familiarity with Zoho or similar ERP is an advantage.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Fluent in English
  • At least a diploma(Minimum Associate Degree)
  • Familiar with warehousing knowledge and standards
