Job Description:
As a Warehouse Coordinator, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the warehouse, ensuring efficient inventory management, and supporting the logistics team. You will play a crucial role in ensuring that all parts, materials, and supplies are properly stocked, organized, and dispatched in a timely manner, supporting the smooth operation of our automotive production and service processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, and dispatching automotive parts, tools, and supplies.
- Manage inventory levels and coordinate regular stock counts to ensure accurate inventory records.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment in compliance with company policies and safety regulations.
- Coordinate with procurement and production teams to ensure timely availability of parts and materials.
- Supervise and direct warehouse staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient operations.
- Process orders and prepare shipments, ensuring proper packaging, labeling, and documentation.
- Assist in the management of return processes for damaged or incorrect parts.
- Track and report on inventory movements, including stock usage, deliveries, and receipts.
- Perform quality checks to ensure all parts meet required standards before being dispatched.
- Coordinate with external suppliers and logistics companies for transportation and delivery needs.
- Assist with the implementation and improvement of warehouse procedures and processes for greater efficiency.
Qualifications:
- Degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is a plus.
- Previous experience in warehouse management or logistics, preferably in the automotive industry.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency with warehouse management software and inventory systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Forklift certification and experience operating warehouse equipment is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to handle operational challenges.
