Position Overview
Jacqueline Adams Antiques is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to support daily warehouse operations, deliveries, and customer coordination. This role combines physical work, logistics support, and basic administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Lift, move, and handle moderately heavy antique furniture safely and efficiently
- Assist with loading/unloading shipments and organizing warehouse inventory
- Drive company van for local pickups and deliveries as needed
- Communicate with customers and shipping partners via email and phone
- Create and maintain Excel spreadsheets for inventory and logistics tracking
- Assist with light to moderate furniture repair and detailing (training provided)
- Use hand and power tools for basic furniture handling and preparation
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse space
Requirements
- Ability to lift and move heavy furniture on a routine basis
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Basic computer proficiency (Excel, email, general office tasks)
- Strong communication skills (phone and written)
- Willingness to learn furniture handling, repair, and detailing techniques
- Experience with hand/power tools preferred
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous warehouse, moving, or logistics experience
- Familiarity with antiques or furniture handling
- Experience coordinating with shippers or delivery companies
