Position Summary
The Warehouse Associate (Forklift) is responsible for the safe handling, movement, storage, and dispatch of raw materials, finished products, and packaging materials within the warehouse. This role includes operating forklifts and other material-handling equipment, maintaining accurate inventory records, and ensuring compliance with safety, quality, and operational standards to support uninterrupted production activities.
Main Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and in accordance with company procedures.
- Load and unload raw materials, finished goods, and supplies from trucks and containers.
- Transport, stack, store, and retrieve materials in designated warehouse locations.
- Perform receiving and shipping activities, including verification of quantities and documentation.
- Conduct daily forklift and equipment inspections; report defects or maintenance needs immediately.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with stock counts and audits.
- Ensure materials are properly labeled, stored, and protected from damage or contamination.
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and 6S standards within the warehouse.
- Follow all safety procedures, including PPE requirements and emergency response protocols.
- Ensure proper shift handover:
- Any abnormality identified during the shift remains the responsibility of the current operator.
- Perform any additional tasks assigned by supervisors or warehouse leadership.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or college education preferred
- Valid Forklift Operator Certification
- Previous warehouse or forklift operating experience preferred
- Basic knowledge of warehouse operations and material handling
- Ability to operate computers for basic data entry and inventory systems
- Strong safety awareness, discipline, and attention to detail
- Reliable, responsible, and able to work independently
- Good communication skills and team-oriented mindset

Language Requirement
English Level: A2 (Basic Operational English)
- Ability to understand and use everyday expressions related to warehouse tasks
- Ability to communicate safety or operational issues using simple words and phrases
- Ability to read basic warehouse instructions, labels, and signs with visual support

Work Schedule: Rotating shifts (3/2 system or as assigned)
