As a Sr. Warehouse Coordinator II, you are responsible for the daily planning and coordination of inbound and outbound deliveries, organization of all associated shipping documents, and hands‑on support of warehouse operations. You also act as a training and learning lead for your site, supporting onboarding and cross‑training to ensure associates can safely and effectively perform their work. This role requires strong organizational skills, a focus on continuous improvement, and the ability to work in both an office and warehouse environment each day.
Manage shipment and process exceptions (e.g., incorrect quantities, damage, missing or incorrect documentation) and drive timely resolution with internal and external partners.
Maintain organized, accurate shipping and receiving documentation in SAP EWM and other Rivian systems.
Monitor work queues, dispatch associates to priority work, and act as a floor‑based point of contact for questions and escalations.
Identify and communicate process gaps, safety or quality risks, and continuous improvement opportunities across inbound, outbound, and inventory flows.
Ensure adherence to Dangerous Goods handling and shipping requirements and related documentation.
Act as a primary trainer for new hires and existing associates transitioning between functional areas (inbound, outbound, inventory, returns, repack, special processes, etc.).
Deliver day‑to‑day on‑the‑job training using approved standard work, training materials, and safety procedures.
Partner with site leadership and Quality/OpEx to identify skill gaps, prioritize training needs, and sequence cross‑training rotations.
Maintain accurate training records (who was trained, on what, when) and support audit/compliance requests related to training.
Support the creation and refinement of standard work, visual aids, and training guides based on feedback from the floor.
5+ years of experience in warehouse operations or logistics related roles
High School Diploma, GED, or other recognized high school equivalency credential, preferred
Experience with providing on the job training
Working knowledge in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Strong collaborator, with willingness to drive change cross functionally
Understanding of Dangerous Goods shipping requirements with preferred Dangerous Goods certification
SAP WM or EWM experience (a plus)
Strong organizational skills
Ability to stand for 8-12 hours per day
Frequent use of hands to handle materials up to 50 lbs.
Required to stoop and kneel to retrieve materials up to 50 lbs. under select racking or floor pile locations
Required to communicate using telephone or email
Ability to view, read, and interpret documents, safety rules, and standard operating procedures
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
Ability to perform all duties in the warehouse that may contain dust, high noise, hot and cold weather
