Decoscape is looking for a full-time Delivery Driver & Warehouse Packer. Must work well in teams and follow instructions carefully. You must keep a high pace and be able to read paperwork assigned to packaging orders.

A Delivery Driver & Warehouse Clerk must have a clean driving record to be approved by our insurance company. The ideal candidate is always on time and able to work long hours on their feet. They are strong and not afraid of heights, with an ability to “pick up” on small details. We also expect you to be accountable when it comes to ensuring the quality and accuracy of orders.

Qualifications

• Valid Florida driver’s license with a clean driving record, with no moving violations in the past 5 years.
• This position requires you to have a driving record for a minimum of 5 years.
• Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol test.
• Proven experience as a delivery driver, courier, or warehouse loader/unloader.
• Truck Driving Experience, 2 years required
• Familiarity with box trucks, vans, manual transmissions, and route driving.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving goods safely and efficiently; lift 75lbs or more.
• Experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks is preferred; certification is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor.
• Knowledge of safety procedures related to driving and warehouse operations.

• Furniture warehouse experience is a plus
• Having strong product knowledge
• Adherent to health & safety policies and quality standards requirements

Able to read and write in English

• Bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Safely operate large box trucks, vans, and other commercial vehicles to deliver products across designated routes.
• Load and unload goods using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual handling techniques, ensuring proper handling and safety protocols.
• Load cargo securely in compliance with safety standards to prevent damage during transit.
• Carefully Package large pieces of furniture.
• Experience with customer deliveries and on-site customer service.
• Receive and check incoming purchase orders.
• Locate products using technology
• Retrieve orders according to quantity, size, product type, collection, etc. ensuring accuracy
• Build pallets with orders and position them to load docks
• Wrap orders before loading on trucks
• Re-stock inventory manually or with warehouse equipment
• Maintain delivery trucks according to SOP and vehicle inspection guides.
• Keep records of completed orders
• Follow and read your Pick List accurately
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to maintain optimal safety and performance.
• Provide excellent customer service by delivering products professionally, answering questions, and addressing customer needs courteously.
• Follow planned routes efficiently, managing time effectively to meet delivery schedules.
• Assist with warehouse tasks such as inventory management, stock movement, and maintaining a clean work environment.
