We are seeking a self-driven, passionate, and safety-focused individual to oversee & play a vital role in the Customer Services department as Warehouse & Distribution operator.Managing Ice-cream warehouse & Logistic operations in a way to minimize Logistic cost & warehouse/handling losses by adopting good practices, proper receipt, storage and dispatch of product and their record management. The goal is to increase efficiency, profitability and customer satisfaction.

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chainExperience:

  • 3-4 years of experience in logistics and warehousing in FMCG

Skills:

  • Knowledge of logistics and warehousing in a FMCG along with hands on experience of MS Office, SAP, and inventory management.

Vacancy description

Vacancy Description:

  • Candidate will be responsible for receiving, storage and dispatch of product to end customers.
  • He will be responsible of shift wise reconciliation of production.
  • Candidate will be working with production, planning and logistics team for smooth execution of ordering.
  • Candidate need to ensure all warehouse operations according to Company HSE & QA policies.
  • Candidate is responsible to minimize warehouse losses
  • He needs to ensure that stock must be dispatched as per FEFO.
  • He will be responsible for inventory management.
  • Initiate and participate in Continuous improvement initiatives.
  • To coordinate with maintenance department for planned / periodic maintenance of equipment under use.
  • To participate in Safety meetings. Giving safety improvement ideas and training to others about safety issues.
  • Ability to develop and self-manage an effective work program to achieve outcomes. Should have a problem solving and do at first time approach nature. Good Skills in assessing and prioritizing multiple tasks, projects and demands.
  • Required excellent communication and analytical skills. He should understand supply chain organization and function, and internal external relationship management with ability to work with cross functional team.
  • Should have the ability to provide leadership to his team and at the same time be able to work as an individual team player.
  • Job holder should demonstrate high professional standards in delivering quality services and always seek to improve those services.
