JOB PURPOSE:
The Warehouse Operations Manager is responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of inventory and facility management. This role demands a data-driven leader who can optimize
WMS/TMS
workflows, manage a large
3rd-party workforce
, and maintain "Best-in-Class" standards in
SLA, Cost, and Quality
. You will be the primary point of contact for resolving complex disputes with both vendors and customers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Operational Excellence (Inbound & Outbound)

Oversee seamless receiving (Inbound) and dispatch (Outbound) processes to meet daily throughput targets.

Manage
3rd-party manpower
providers, ensuring optimal staffing levels and high productivity.

Ensure 100% adherence to
SLAs
for order fulfillment and delivery timelines.
2. Inventory & Systems Management
-
Inventory Health:
Maintain 99.9% inventory accuracy through rigorous cycle counting and wall-to-wall audits.

WMS/TMS Mastery:
Act as the super-user for the Warehouse Management System (WMS) and Transport Management System (TMS) to automate workflows and reduce manual errors.

Monitor aging stock and implement "First-In, First-Out" (FIFO) or FEFO protocols.
3. Quality, Safety & Infrastructure

5S & Safety:
Implement and sustain 5S methodology to ensure a world-class working environment.

Security:
Oversee site security protocols to prevent pilferage and damage.

Facility/Infra:
Manage warehouse infrastructure, including MHE (Material Handling Equipment) maintenance and racking integrity.
4. Dispute Resolution & Relationship Management

Vendor Disputes:
Resolve discrepancies in received quantities, damaged goods, or delayed shipments.

Customer Disputes:
Address claims regarding short-shipments, wrong items, or delivery quality.

Act as the bridge between the warehouse floor and the procurement/sales teams.
5. Financial Stewardship & Cost Control

Manage the operational budget (OPEX) with a focus on
cost reduction
initiatives.

Provide detailed reports on "Cost per Line" or "Cost per Unit" to senior management.
-
Identify bottlenecks to improve
productivity
and reduce overtime costs.
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
BE /B Tech
WORK EXPERIENCE:
4-10 years preferably in consumer durables industry
