The Warehouse In-Charge will be responsible for the overall management of warehouse operations, including inventory control, dispatch coordination, dealer communication for payment follow-ups, and supervision of a sales executive. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and effective coordination between sales, logistics, and dealers to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Warehouse & Inventory Management
- Maintain accurate stock records and ensure proper storage of goods.
- Monitor inventory levels and report shortages or excess stock in a timely manner.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile discrepancies.
- Ensure cleanliness, safety, and proper organization of the warehouse.
Dispatch & Logistics
- Plan and oversee dispatch of goods as per orders and delivery schedules.
- Coordinate with transporters and ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
- Prepare and verify dispatch documents including invoices, delivery challans, and related records.
- Track dispatched goods and resolve delivery-related issues.
Dealer Coordination & Payment Follow-up
- Maintain regular communication with dealers regarding orders, deliveries, and outstanding payments.
- Follow up with dealers for timely collection of payments and update management on payment status.
- Coordinate with the accounts team to ensure proper recording of collections.
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with dealers.
Sales Supervision
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of one sales executive.
- Track sales activities, field visits, and performance reports.
- Provide operational support to the sales executive for order processing and dealer coordination.
- Share market and dealer feedback with management.
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum 5 years of experience in warehouse or inventory management.
- Basic knowledge of dispatch processes, invoicing, and stock control.
- Good communication skills for dealer and internal coordination.
- Ability to supervise and guide a sales executive.
- Basic computer knowledge (MS Excel, Tally, or ERP preferred).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
