The Warehouse Inventory Control Specialist is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory levels and ensuring smooth warehouse operations for Will Leather Goods. This role helps manage the flow of high-quality leather products—including handbags, belts, wallets, and accessories—from receiving to fulfillment, supporting both retail, wholesale, and e-commerce channels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organize and maintain product storage areas to preserve item quality and accessibility.
- Accurately track and record inventory using the warehouse management system (WMS).
- Perform regular cycle counts, inventory audits, and stock reconciliations.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in product counts, labeling, or storage locations.
- Coordinate with purchasing, design, and sales teams to ensure timely product availability.
- Support shipping and receiving activities, including inspection of leather goods for quality and accuracy.
- Follow company policies and safety standards to ensure a clean, efficient warehouse environment.
- Ensure that all picking locations are kept filled
- Fulfill other duties and tasks as necessary
Qualifications:
- Bilingual English/Spanish
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1–3 years of experience in warehouse or inventory control, preferably in retail or fashion goods.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling premium products.
- Experience with inventory management software and basic computer skills (Excel, WMS, Microsoft office).
- Ability to lift, move, and organize boxed merchandise as needed.
- Forklift certified
Physical Demands:
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods of time
- Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with variable temperatures and noise levels
