Warehouse & Logistics Junior Assistant

Job Purpose

At Engineering Warehouse & Logistics (EWL) , we ensure Emirates Maintenance teams have timely and accurate access to spares and tools. Our comprehensive services cover receiving, stocking, issuing, and delivering essential components.

Integral to the broader Supply Chain, EWL expertly manages the Warehouse & Logistics functions for Emirates Airline’s aircraft materials and tools. Rely on us for efficient, reliable support that keeps your maintenance operations running smoothly.

To complete support tasks as assigned by Warehouse & Logistics team to ensure tools & material/logistics requests raised by maintenance are fulfilled in a safe and effective manner, and are complete in accordance with dept. standard operating procedures (SOPs).

In This Role, You Will

• Perform daily Warehouse and Logistics support tasks at assigned functional area, i.e., Goods Inwards, Main Stores, Sub Stores, Tool Stores, Line Maintenance Stores, Outstation Support and Spares Distribution sections as per assignment. Tasks include, but not limited to picking, packing, sorting, stocking, transporting and pre-loading.
• Support Assistants and Senior Assistants in performing Warehouse and Logistics activities efficiently and effectively to meet customer SLA and team sectional targets.
• Ensure Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Engineering Procedure Manual (EPM) are followed at all times, while adhering to safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance.
• Operate Material Handling Equipment (MHE) and carry out system transactions (Handheld Devices) related to Warehouse & Logistics activities as per the assignment.
  
  

Qualification

To be considered for the role you must meet the below requirements:

• Engineering.Materials & Stores
• 10 Years schooling or equivalent
• Minimum 1 year work experience as an associate in Warehouse and logistics.
• Basic English language skills and physical fitness. A valid UAE driver?s licence/Airside Driving Permit (ADP) would be an added advantage.
