About Nature Home
Nature Home (China) Co., Ltd. is a leading home-furnishings brand with global operations. We are expanding our U.S. warehousing and logistics footprint and seeking a hands-on leader to build scalable, efficient, and compliant operations across multiple sites.
Role Summary
You will own end-to-end warehousing and logistics for the U.S. market—setting strategy, optimizing inventory and costs, standardizing SOPs across sites, and leading multi-warehouse teams. The role requires frequent collaboration with the Guangzhou headquarters and regular onsite presence at U.S. warehouses.
What You’ll Do
U.S. Warehousing & Logistics Management
- Develop and execute U.S. warehousing & logistics strategies to improve inventory turns and storage cost efficiency.
- Set monthly inventory allocation plans across all U.S. warehouses, balancing SKU coverage and cost.
- Lead warehouse efficiency reviews; use inventory analytics to optimize storage of slow-moving items and reduce aged/idle inventory.
- Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations to ensure safety, efficiency, and compliance.
- Build and maintain a cross-warehouse SOP handbook (inbound QC, putaway logic, picking paths, etc.); update quarterly and audit for adherence.
Team Leadership & Operational Assurance
- Approve staffing schedules and labor budgets; monitor timekeeping and hourly compliance.
- Lead performance management, including skills-matrix evaluations for warehouse staff.
- Conduct daily safety walks; resolve overflow/stockout exceptions and other operational anomalies.
- Approve aged-inventory disposition plans and control shrink.
- Authorize emergency inter-warehouse transfers to protect service levels.
Cross-Cultural Collaboration & Compliance
- Coordinate workflows between China and U.S. teams, removing collaboration frictions caused by cultural or process gaps.
- Ensure all warehouse operations comply with U.S. labor laws, OSHA safety standards, and U.S. customs regulations.
What You’ll Bring
- 5+ years of warehouse management experience, including 3+ years leading multi-site or multi-warehouse teams.
- Background in China–U.S. cross-border logistics or manufacturing warehousing is a plus.
- Strong command of inventory analysis and operational KPIs (turns, aged inventory, fill rate, throughput).
- Proven ability to create, roll out, and audit SOPs across sites.
- Effective people leadership: workforce planning, budgeting, coaching, and performance management.
- Familiarity with WMS and productivity tools (e.g., Excel); data-driven decision making.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate clearly with China and U.S. stakeholders.
- Willingness to rotate between Guangzhou HQ and U.S. sites as needed; ability to travel domestically and internationally.
Location & Travel
- Primary work happens onsite at U.S. warehouses (Los Angeles, San Francisco Bay Area, New Jersey) with regular travel to each site.
- Periodic travel to Guangzhou headquarters for alignment and reviews.
