Job Summary

JRA Health is a new and emerging home infusion provider, looking for talented individuals to assist in the organization’s focus on filling the gap in acute care home infusion services. JRA Health is licensed & accredited to provide infusion pharmacy & nursing services to patients in the Florida market with plans to expand into surrounding states and nationally.

Job Description Summary:

Responsible for coordination of courier deliveries & shipments from pharmacy to the patient home. Point of contact for patients, delivery drivers, JRA Health personnel for any deliveries & delivery issues.

Job Responsibilities:

• Delivery Driver dispatcher for same-day STAT and routine courier deliveries
• Optimizes delivery courier routing prioritizing timeliness of deliveries while also minimizing costs per delivery.
• Assists in the screening, hiring and monitoring of contract delivery drivers prioritizing reliability, professionalism, and timeliness.
• Communicates estimated delivery times to patients & JRA Health personnel
• Keeps track of stock levels and organizes products within warehouse/shipping area
• Assists in the packaging & preparation of shipments.
• Reports delivery routes, mileage and assigned drivers to routes in a timely manner to accounting department for timely driver reimbursement.
• Confirms receipt of items, ensuring they match purchase orders and checks for accuracy, quality and any defects in received items.
• Assists operations personnel in the tracking & receipt of delivery ticket proofs/confirmations.
• Participates in continuous quality improvement for delivery logistics prioritizing excellence in customer service while also containing costs.
• Serves as back-up delivery driver as needed when all contracted delivery drivers are exhausted.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• Bachelor's degree in logistics, or related field (preferred)
• Good time management and multitasking skills (required)
• Effective problem solving and communication skills (required)
• Effective team player (required)

Travel Requirements:

• Serve as delivery driver as needed.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to communicate orally with customers, management, and other co-workers, both individually and in front of a group is crucial. Regular use of the phone and e-mail for communication is essential.
• Sitting, driving, walking, standing for extending periods. Hearing and vision within normal ranges is essential for normal conversations, to receive ordinary information and to prepare or inspect documents.
• Ability to lift 15–50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodations. Good manual dexterity for the use of common office equipment.
