Summary:
The maintenance mechanic position conducts troubleshooting, repairs and preventive maintenance service.
Essential Functions:

1. Provides emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
2. Performs mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, PLC and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of production equipment.
3. Reads and interprets equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
4. Building Maintenance, HVAC, Electrical, Pluming
5. Comply with Company and OSHA safety and health rules.
6. Ordering of maintenance supplies.
7. Local parts runs.

Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Required Skills:
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to a variety of extreme conditions in production areas. The noise level in the work environment and job areas can be loud.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing all day. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Hours of work are Monday through Friday and may fluctuate depending on work shift.
Required Education and Experience
1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. Technical training; exposure to production equipment (Metal Saw/Shears/Forklifts).
3. Clean driving record
