Hatalom Corporation is seeking a skilled and motivated Warehouse Manager to lead logistics, storage, and property accountability operations supporting the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Panama City Division (NSWC PCD). This position ensures the secure, efficient, and compliant handling of government policies and procedures in accordance with Navy and federal standards. This position is contingent upon contract award.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor warehouse staff, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Act as the primary liaison between Hatalom, government personnel, and partner organizations to coordinate logistics operations and resolve issues.
- Ensure safe operation and maintenance of Material Handling Equipment (MHE), verifying all team members are properly trained and certified.
- Oversee Navy Enterprise Resource Planning (NERP) and Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS) transactions to ensure data accuracy and traceability of all materials.
- Maintain precise inventory records and ensure readiness for audits, inspections, and reconciliations.
- Develop, document, and enforce warehouse procedures for preservation, packaging, and storage in line with Navy and federal requirements.
- Monitor performance metrics, cost, schedule, and efficiency, and implement improvements to achieve contract objectives.
- Direct day-to-day warehouse functions such as material receiving, inspection, storage, kitting, and shipment activities.
- Support risk management, safety initiatives, and compliance efforts to maintain a hazard-free and well-organized workspace.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of supervisory experience in DoD or federal warehousing operations (Navy background preferred).
- Strong familiarity with government logistics systems, including Navy ERP and DPAS.
- Proven record of managing budgets, timelines, and performance outcomes in operational environments.
- Demonstrated leadership and communication skills with the ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders.
- Understanding of risk management practices and warehouse compliance standards.
Preferred Experience:
- Background supporting NAVSEA, NAVSUP, or related Navy logistics programs.
- Experience supporting Physical Inventory Plans or Location Audit Plans (LAP) in Navy facilities.
- Knowledge of NAVSUP P-529 (Warehouse Modernization and Layout Planning Guide) or similar Navy documentation.
Additional Details:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
- This position is located On-site and will require the candidate to live in the area or within a commutable distance.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate warehouse equipment as needed.
