As a rapidly growing DTC nutraceutical brand, we've invested in a new warehouse to bring fulfillment in-house. This role offers the chance to build and lead our fulfillment operation, shaping exceptional customer delivery nationwide.

Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Warehouse Manager to design, launch, and oversee our in-house warehouse and fulfillment operations. Ideal for an entrepreneurial builder, this role covers setup, SOPs, team management, logistics, and automation to create a compliant, scalable operation.

Key Responsibilities
Warehouse Setup & Infrastructure

• Design efficient warehouse layouts for multiple SKUs

• Install racking, labeling, climate control, and security

• Develop SOPs for receiving, picking, packing, shipping

• Build scalable systems for growth

Fulfillment & Logistics

• Manage inbound/outbound logistics, fulfillment, and returns

• Coordinate with 3PLs, carriers, and teams to optimize cost and speed

• Oversee daily orders via Shopify, ShipStation, ShipHero

• Track KPIs: inventory accuracy, fulfillment rate, shipping errors, cost per order

Team Leadership & Culture

• Recruit, train, and manage staff

• Lead stand-ups, reviews, and scheduling

• Maintain a safe, organized, GMP-compliant warehouse

• Foster accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement

Inventory & Compliance

• Ensure real-time inventory accuracy

• Conduct cycle counts and audits

• Implement GMP-compliant storage/handling

• Collaborate with QA on FDA/DSHEA compliance

Technology & Continuous Improvement

• Select and integrate WMS, label printing, and shipping tools

• Automate eCommerce–warehouse data flow

• Apply Lean/Six Sigma to boost efficiency and reduce waste

• Continuously improve cost, accuracy, and throughput

Qualifications
Required:

• 7+ years in warehouse/fulfillment management (DTC/eCommerce/CPG preferred)

• Experience building or scaling warehouses, ideally 3PL to in-house

• Strong GMP, FDA, DSHEA compliance knowledge

• Skilled in Shopify, ShipStation, ShipHero, or similar

• Expertise in inventory control, forecasting, KPI tracking

• Experience hiring, training, managing teams

• Proficient in Excel/Google Sheets, reporting

• Knowledge of shipping carriers

• OSHA certification or safety program experience

Preferred:

• Dietary supplement, food, or cosmetic industry experience

• Lean/Six Sigma background

• WMS/ERP and barcode system familiarity

• Mechanical aptitude for equipment/conveyors
