The Warehouse Manager oversees the complete warehouse operations ensuring smooth inbound/outbound flow, accurate inventory, safe handling of materials, and efficient coordination between teams. The role requires someone who can lead people with clarity, maintain strong discipline, and bring a continuous-improvement mindset to daily operations.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Handling & Storage of Healthcare Devices
- Oversee proper receiving, inspection, storage, and dispatch of medical devices.
- Ensure all products are stored as per manufacturer guidelines and regulatory norms.
- Monitor temperature-controlled storage areas (if applicable).
- Prevent damages, contamination risks, and ensure product traceability.
2. Regulatory Compliance & Documentation
- Maintain all warehouse operations in alignment with healthcare regulatory requirements.
- Ensure accurate documentation for batch/serial numbers, calibration certificates, warranty papers, etc.
- Prepare and manage compliance reports for audits (ISO, CDSCO, NABH, etc.).
- Ensure that FEFO / FIFO practices are strictly followed.
3. Inventory & Process Management
- Maintain 100% inventory accuracy through regular stock counts and reconciliation.
- Manage inward/outward movement with zero mismatch.
- Implement SOPs for receiving, inspection, quarantine, and dispatch.
- Track slow-moving, near-expiry, and critical devices.
4. Team Leadership
- Lead and guide warehouse staff/riders with clarity, discipline, and care.
- Train the team on handling sensitive medical equipment.
- Plan manpower for receiving, order processing, and dispatch workloads.
5. Coordination with Internal & External Stakeholders
- Work closely with sales, finance and HO team.
- Coordinate with transporters and service partners to ensure timely supply/installation.
- Resolve shortages, damages, or service issues quickly and professionally.
6. Technology & Reporting
- Maintain accurate entries for every material movement.
- Generate weekly/monthly MIS reports on inventory health, stock variance, TAT, and dispatch performance.
- Drive improvements in warehouse layout, process flow, and automation.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Graduate or Diploma (preferred: supply chain, logistics, or life-sciences related).
- 4–8 years of experience in warehouse operations.
- Strong knowledge of excel reporting.
- Strong attention to detail, especially for serial numbers and documentation.
