Warehouse Manager –(Restructured Warehouse Operations)**

Position Overview

The Warehouse Manager will lead the complete transformation and day-to-day operations of Luxaddi’s warehouse. This role is responsible for building a streamlined, tech-enabled, process-driven warehouse system—from item code creation, inventory mapping, inward–outward control, project-specific dispatch planning, TAT-based execution, to final project sign-offs. The role demands strong coordination with Production, Procurement, Design, Finance, and Project Execution teams to ensure precision, speed, and zero-error deliveries for Luxaddi’s premium lighting and décor products.

Key Responsibilities1. Warehouse Restructuring & System Implementation

  • Establish a new warehouse operating model aligned with COMPANY growth and premium service expectations.
  • Create SOPs for every workflow: inward, quality check, storage, bin allocation, outward, project bundling, and dispatch.
  • Set up digital inventory management, barcode labelling, stock accuracy methods, and audit mechanisms.
  • Design optimal warehouse layouts, storage zoning, and material flow pathways.

2. Item Code Creation & Master Data Management

  • Develop a standardized item code system for all SKUs: chandeliers, components, hardware, driver units, crystals, accessories, and project-specific items.
  • Ensure all items have complete metadata: dimensions, material, finish, supplier, MOQ, lead time, safety stock levels.
  • Maintain 100% accuracy in the Item Master and coordinate with Design + Production for new launches and custom products.
  • Implement change control for revisions in item codes or BOM updates.

3. Inward Flow, Quality Control & Documentation

  • Oversee all goods receipt processes for local suppliers, imports, project materials, and inter-unit transfers.
  • Implement strict QC checkpoints with photographic documentation.
  • Ensure GRN (Goods Received Note) accuracy for Finance and Production planning.
  • Maintain rejection logs, return-to-vendor processes, and follow-up mechanisms.

4. Inventory Management & Stock Accuracy

  • Maintain real-time, error-free inventory across all material categories.
  • Conduct weekly cycle counts and monthly audits with Finance.
  • Manage safety stock, reorder levels, ageing stock identification, and dead stock disposal plans.
  • Set up Project Inventory Blocks to ensure materials for ongoing orders are reserved and not misallocated.

5. Project-Based TAT Management & Order Execution

  • Work closely with the Project Execution and Sales teams to understand order timelines.
  • Build TAT-driven dispatch plans for every project—mapping materials, assembling project kits, and preparing dispatch sets.
  • Monitor and track material readiness against project milestones.
  • Generate daily TAT reports: shortages, pending inward, QC status, packing timelines, logistics readiness.
  • Ensure zero delay in project dispatches and accountability at every stage.

6. Outward, Packing, Dispatch & Logistics Coordination

  • Oversee the complete outward flow, including packing standards, material bundling, documentation, and labeling.
  • Implement sturdy project-wise packing procedures (crystal boxes, rods, fixtures, hardware sets).
  • Coordinate with transporters, ensure delivery tracking, and maintain PODs (Proof of Delivery).
  • Maintain damage logs and insurance claims if required.

7. Team Management & Training

  • Lead, train, and supervise warehouse staff—storekeepers, pickers, packers, QA assistants, loaders.
  • Build a strong culture of ownership, speed, and accuracy.
  • Create training modules for SOP adherence and safety protocols.

8. Cross-Department Coordination

  • Work directly with:
  • Design Team (for new SKUs, BOMs, custom orders)
  • Production (for manufacturing readiness and shortages)
  • Procurement (for reorder and PO status)
  • Finance (for audits and value tracking)
  • Project Execution Team (for TAT-based dispatches)
  • Ensure information flows smoothly between departments with documented communication.

9. Reporting & Performance Dashboards

Prepare and submit:

  • Stock accuracy report
  • Ageing inventory report
  • Project TAT status dashboard
  • Inward vs Shortage vs QC clearance report
  • Daily dispatch plan
  • Material requirement forecast for upcoming 60–90 days

Required Skills & Experience

  • 5–10 years experience in warehouse management (preferably in manufacturing, lighting, décor, or engineering goods).
  • Strong understanding of inventory systems (ERP/WMS).
  • Ability to build structured processes from scratch.
  • Strong leadership, coordination and communication skills.
  • High discipline, ability to handle pressure, and commitment to deadlines.

Key Outcomes Expected from This Role

  • Fully restructured warehouse functioning with strict SOPs.
  • Accurate item code system and strong inventory hygiene.
  • Reduction in material errors, shortages, and return cases.
  • On-time project deliveries with >95% TAT adherence.
  • Transparent reporting and predictable material planning.
  • Well-trained warehouse team operating with speed and precision.
