Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and responsible Warehouse Incharge to manage and oversee warehouse operations at our Taloja facility. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in the steel or a related industry and strong operational and inventory management capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, including receipt, storage, and dispatch of steel materials
• Ensure accurate inward and outward entries, stock reconciliation, and inventory control
• Coordinate with production, logistics, and sales teams for timely material movement
• Supervise warehouse staff, loaders, and forklift operators
• Ensure proper stacking, identification, and safe handling of steel products
• Maintain warehouse records, GRNs, delivery challans, and stock registers
• Implement and monitor safety, housekeeping (5S), and compliance standards
• Conduct periodic physical stock audits and resolve discrepancies
• Liaise with transporters and ensure timely dispatch of materials
• Ensure adherence to company policies and statutory requirements

Desired Candidate Profile

• Engineering degree preferred (Mechanical / Production / Industrial Engineering desirable)
• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Warehouse Incharge or similar role in the steel or relevant industry
• Strong knowledge of inventory management, warehouse processes, and documentation
• Experience handling heavy materials such as steel coils, bars, sheets, or pipes
• Familiarity with ERP systems and MS Excel
• Good leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills
• Awareness of safety norms and best practices in industrial warehouses
