Summary
Supervise all activities of warehouse associates and leads with the exception of the portables warehouse person. This is a working supervisor position and will be expected to work alongside the warehouse persons as needed. This position also includes management and oversight of the company inventory control system, including implementation, training, and reporting responsibilities. This role is eligible to work an on-site schedule based out of our Philadelphia, PA location.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Supervise all warehouse persons with the exception of the portables warehouse person

Manage and direct all project workflow to warehouse persons with great attention to detail including projected timelines, skill level necessary and changes made throughout the entirety of the project

Assist with resources and scheduling for pulling and prep all shows

Collaborate with project manager and warehouse persons to finalize, update, and distribute show manifests

Maintain warehouse organization and cleanliness

Collaborate with the warehouse leads to receive in shows

Attend appropriate team meetings

Ensure properties are properly returned to storage after receiving

Manage warehouse equipment service requests promptly and resolve issues quickly

Maintain a safe environment and implement procedures and regulations to ensure safety of all employees and take an active role in Sparks Safety Committee

Maintain documented rules and regulations

Lead the local implementation of the inventory software and processes; train personnel to utilize Sparks terminology for each inventoried item

Monitor accuracy in processing and ensure standards are met across the enterprise

Utilize tracking software to manage the inventory database, track all properties, analyze usage, and compile storage reporting

Track each shipment and provide variance, damage, and loss reports related to individual elements

Track and manage the repair process for all rental and/or client components

Provide information to Finance and account teams regarding client inventory and storage reporting

Create and implement routine reports to management regarding storage, usage, and open damage reports
Education & Experience
-
Min 5 years warehouse experience in the tradeshow and event industry

Possesses a developed ability to implement and maintain standardized operational procedures related to inventory control and warehousing activities

Possesses strong written and verbal communication skills to discuss all operational aspects of the facility with miscellaneous internal and client contacts

Able to effectively manage multiple large scale product launches utilizing strong organizational and communication skills

Forklift certified

Excellent problem solving skills

Strong attention to detail, a positive attitude, and a team player

Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills

Proficient in Google Drive and Microsoft Office
