The Warehouse Manager is responsible for planning, directing and monitoring the warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and tools return.
Duties & Responsibilities:

Plans and directs the work activities of warehouse operations including receiving, picking, shipping, delivery and inventory control.

Plan, direct and monitor the transport activities ensuring goods and materials are transported safely, compliantly and cost-effectively.

Manage the day-to-day activities including developing schedules, methods and routes; analyzing cost and metrics; and coordinating customs clearances and permits.

Analyze inventory levels and material demand to ensure material availability and minimize inventory costs in alignment with business strategy.

Lead and manage annual full physical inventory.

Work closely with the Customer Service department to coordinate transport and distribution schedules with current and anticipated orders/demands.

Negotiate transportation rates with carriers and third-party services, and monitors expected results.

Analyze and report the financial impact of proposed logistical changes such as routing, shipping modes, product volumes or mixes, or carriers.

Drive continuous improvement to safety, quality, cost and delivery while growing and expanding capabilities within the warehouse.

Oversee the hiring, training and performance management of assigned personnel.

Ensure compliance with regulations relating to domestic and international transportation and logistics.

Education & Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree in logistics, supply chain, transportation or another relevant field required.

Master’s Degree in relevant field preferred.

8+ years of management experience in warehouse operations or logistics in a manufacturing environment.

Experience in domestic and international shipping and distribution.
-
Demonstrated organizational and management experience, including process improvement techniques.

SAP experience preferred.

Knowledge of Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook.
