Warehouse Manager

(NOTE: This is a full-time, project-based employment opportunity with the company through December 2028. While there may be potential for extension or consideration into a similar role, such opportunities are not guaranteed.)

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Warehouse Manager to lead end-to-end warehouse and distribution operations supporting a large-scale, high-profile special event. This role is responsible for ensuring the seamless, efficient, and secure movement of materials, equipment, and products across multiple venues, while upholding the highest standards of operational excellence, integrity, and compliance.

Role Overview

This leader will oversee warehouse operations of materials, equipment, and products that will serve the venues. The role is accountable for managing key performance indicators such as occupancy and picking accuracy, while ensuring integrity in storage processes, load traceability, and SLA compliance. A strong focus on layout optimization, asset security, and operational excellence across logistics hubs is essential to success.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and operational oversight for all warehouse and distribution activities, including receiving, storage, inventory management, and outbound logistics
• Develop and execute logistics strategies that optimize warehouse layout, maximize space utilization, and enhance efficiency across multiple sites
• Monitor and manage key performance indicators (KPIs), including warehouse occupancy, picking accuracy, on-time delivery, and fleet utilization
• Ensure the integrity and accuracy of storage processes, maintaining full traceability of inventory and adherence to service level agreements (SLAs)
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on operational excellence, process optimization, and technology adoption
• Establish and enforce robust asset security protocols to safeguard inventory and equipment throughout the supply chain lifecycle
• Lead, develop, and inspire high-performing warehouse and distribution teams, fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and collaboration
• Partner cross-functionally with internal stakeholders, vendors, and external partners to ensure timely and accurate delivery to all event venues
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, as well as organizational standards related to safety, quality, and environmental practices
• Analyze performance data, identify risks, and implement corrective actions to drive consistent operational success

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in warehouse, distribution, or logistics management, including leadership of large-scale operations
• Proven expertise in managing KPIs, optimizing warehouse layouts, and driving process improvements
• Strong knowledge of inventory control, asset security, and fleet or transportation management
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams in fast-paced, high-volume environments with shifting priorities
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills
• Experience supporting complex, multi-site operations or large-scale events strongly preferred
• Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS), transportation management systems (TMS), and related logistics technologies
