The Warehouse Manager oversees day-to-day warehouse operations to ensure all IRONMAN Group events receive accurate, timely, and high-quality equipment and materials. This role manages inventory, shipping and receiving, warehouse organization, and operational compliance while upholding global IRONMAN standards. The Warehouse Manager partners closely with Event Operations, Logistics, and Supply Chain teams to maintain a reliable flow of materials that support exceptional event execution.
Requirements:
Warehouse Operations & Inventory Management

Maintain a clean, safe, and well-organized warehouse environment with clear labeling and logical inventory placement.

Oversee daily shipping and receiving activities, ensuring accuracy and timely processing.

Maintain inventory records, stock levels, and material traceability across both warehouse locations.

Coordinate the loading, unloading, and staging of pallets, trucks, and shipments.

Ensure all materials are properly stored, marked, and documented in the warehouse management system.
Event Support & Shipment Coordination

Serve as the main point of contact for all shipment planning for North America events.

Partner with Race Directors, Regional Directors, VIP Services, Athlete Services, Volunteer Services, and Event Supply Managers to confirm event requirements.

Prepare and maintain shipment tickets and documentation for IRONMAN and Rock ’n’ Roll events.

Build pallets and accurately record pallet contents; reference past event shipments as needed.

Coordinate freight pickups with shipping partners; obtain quotes, confirm pickup dates, and prepare Bills of Lading (BOLs).

Manage occasional FedEx shipments; determine appropriate service levels based on timelines and cost.
Compliance, Reporting & Administration

Follow all Global IRONMAN Logistics & Supply Chain best practices and safety standards.

Maintain warehouse shipping logs and tracking documents (e.g., Colorado/NC Warehouse Shipping files).

Attend recurring team meetings and provide timely operational updates.

Accurately code and submit invoices and expense reports in alignment with budget expectations.
Safety & Risk Management

Champion warehouse safety practices, including equipment handling, vehicle operation, and facility upkeep.

Identify and address potential hazards; report unsafe conditions promptly.

Ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations.

Qualifications & Experience

3+ years of warehouse operations experience; event or logistics industry preferred.

Prior experience managing shipments, freight coordination, or inventory control.

Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.).

Strong planning, organization, and problem-solving skills.
-
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with frequent change.

Valid driver’s license; ability to drive company vehicles as needed.
Event Support: In addition to core warehouse responsibilities, this role will support IRONMAN Group events on an ad hoc basis, typically up to five events per year. This support may be in a logistics capacity or in a general operational role, depending on event needs.
During these assignments, the Warehouse Manager may be responsible for:

Assisting with on-site build, setup, and teardown of event infrastructure (e.g., transition areas, finish lines, athlete villages, expo spaces).

Providing logistics support, including equipment staging, vehicle loading/unloading, and onsite material distribution.

Ensuring proper deployment and return of warehouse-managed assets, with accurate tracking and condition reporting.

Collaborating with Event Operations, Regional Directors, and Logistics teams to troubleshoot onsite issues and ensure flawless execution.

Operating vehicles, trailers, or equipment as required by the event footprint and safety standards.

Supporting last-mile logistics, including coordination of deliveries, freight, and replacement items.

Upholding IRONMAN’s global event-delivery standards and representing the warehouse function professionally onsite.
Requirements for Event Support

Ability to travel as needed across North America; some assignments may require extended days or weekend work.

Comfortable working long or physically demanding days in outdoor environments and variable weather.
