WAREHOUSE MANAGER

• Manage and oversee all warehouse and store operations, ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, issuance, and distribution of materials, tools, equipment, and spare parts.
• Develop, implement, and maintain effective inventory control systems to ensure accurate stock records and minimize inventory discrepancies.
• Lead, supervise, and evaluate store personnel, assigning duties and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and coordinate with the Procurement Department to ensure timely availability of materials and services.
• Review and approve purchase requisitions and coordinate procurement planning to maintain optimum inventory levels while minimizing excess and obsolete stock.
• Monitor stock movements and conduct regular inventory reconciliations, cycle counts, and annual stock audits.
• Ensure all inventory transactions are accurately recorded and maintained within the company's ERP or computerized inventory management system.
• Analyze inventory trends and forecast future stock requirements based on operational demands and historical consumption.
• Develop strategies to optimize inventory turnover, reduce carrying costs, and improve warehouse efficiency.
• Ensure all incoming materials comply with purchase specifications, quality standards, and supporting documentation before acceptance.
• Monitor and control aging, slow-moving, obsolete, and excess inventory, recommending appropriate disposal or utilization strategies.
• Maintain accurate records of invoices, delivery notes, goods receipts, stock transfers, and other inventory-related documentation.
• Coordinate with Finance to ensure proper inventory valuation, VAT documentation, and reconciliation of inventory accounts.
• Prepare periodic inventory, warehouse performance, and stock valuation reports for senior management.
• Investigate inventory variances and implement corrective and preventive actions to improve inventory accuracy.
• Develop, review, and implement store procedures and operational policies to improve efficiency and internal controls.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, health, safety, and environmental requirements within all store facilities.
• Respond promptly to operational inquiries regarding stock availability, inventory status, and material requirements.
• Support internal and external audits by providing accurate inventory records and documentation.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and cost reduction within warehouse and inventory operations.
• Perform any other duties assigned by management related to warehouse, inventory, logistics, and materials management.
