Duties

• Lead and supervise all warehouse activities, including shipping, receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment.
• Implement and maintain efficient warehouse processes using warehouse management systems and inventory management software to enhance productivity.
• Coordinate the operation of material handling equipment such as forklifts and RF scanners to ensure safe and effective movement of goods.
• Oversee inventory control procedures, conducting regular audits to ensure accuracy and minimize discrepancies.
• Drive continuous process improvement initiatives utilizing lean management principles to streamline workflows and reduce waste.
• Manage team performance through coaching, training, and clear managerial communication to foster a motivated and high-performing workforce.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment for all staff.

Requirements

• Proven experience in warehouse operations management, including distribution center or warehouse supervisor roles.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management systems, and logistics processes.
• Demonstrated ability to operate material handling equipment such as forklifts and RF scanners safely.
• Excellent team leadership skills with experience managing diverse teams in a fast-paced setting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for reporting, documentation, and communication purposes.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and best practices for materials handling and heavy lifting.
• Effective managerial communication skills with the ability to motivate staff and coordinate cross-functional teams effectively.
