About the Role:
We are seeking a highly competent and experienced Warehouse Manager (Food / Cold Store) to oversee our end-to-end warehousing operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient storage, handling, and distribution of temperature-controlled food products in compliance with quality, safety, and regulatory standards. This position demands a detail-oriented professional with proven experience in cold chain management and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and control all warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory management, order processing, and dispatch of goods.
• Ensure that all cold storage and handling processes comply with HACCP, ISO, and other applicable food safety and hygiene standards.
• Implement and monitor warehouse performance metrics to ensure operational efficiency, accuracy, and cost-effectiveness.
• Maintain optimal storage conditions to preserve product quality and integrity across all temperature zones.
• Coordinate with logistics, procurement, and sales departments to ensure timely fulfilment of customer and internal requirements.
• Lead, train, and develop warehouse staff to maintain high performance, safety compliance, and accountability.
• Conduct periodic stock audits, reconcile inventory discrepancies, and ensure accurate documentation in the warehouse management system (WMS).
• Oversee warehouse maintenance, equipment utilization, and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental policies.
• Prepare operational and performance reports for senior management, supporting data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 05-07 years of progressive experience in warehouse management, with at least 3 years in food or cold storage operations within the UAE or GCC region.
• In-depth understanding of cold chain logistics, food handling regulations, and temperature-controlled storage processes.
• Strong knowledge of inventory control, and warehouse automation.
• Demonstrated leadership ability with excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
• Proven capability in optimizing warehouse layouts, reducing waste, and improving process efficiency.
• Certification in food safety or logistics management will be considered an advantage.
