Warehouse Material Coordinator

We are seeking a reliable, highly organized, and safety-conscious individual to manage the flow of materials and equipment at our facility. This role is the "engine room" of our field operations; you will be responsible for ensuring that our crews have exactly what they need before heading to a job site and that everything is returned, maintained, and stored correctly upon completion.


Key Responsibilities

  • Equipment & Material Staging: Proactively prep materials and load equipment for upcoming projects to ensure on-time departures for field crews.
  • Inventory In-take: Receive, inspect, and properly store all materials and equipment returning from job sites.
  • Forklift Operation: Safely operate forklifts to move heavy materials and equipment within both the indoor warehouse and the outdoor construction yard.
  • Driving & Hauling: Pick up and deliver materials or equipment.
  • Strategic Organization: Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and organization; move and adjust vehicles and trailers within the yard to maximize space and accessibility.
  • Facility Maintenance: Keep the shop and yard free of hazards by implementing efficient storage solutions and performing routine cleaning.


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Certified Forklift Operator: Proven experience operating a forklift in various terrains (smooth warehouse floors and uneven yard surfaces).
  • Logistical Thinking: The ability to look at a cluttered space and organize it for maximum efficiency.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy objects, work outdoors in various weather conditions, and remain active throughout the shift.
  • Attention to Detail: Precision in tracking what goes out and what comes back to prevent loss or project delays.
  • Vehicle Operation: Comfortable moving and maneuvering various company vehicles and trailers for storage purposes.
  • Character Strength: Make principled decisions
  • Good Human: Respectfully interact with a wide range of people
  • Basic computer and smartphone skills
  • Valid driver’s license

Physical Requirements & General Duties

  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 60 pounds and push and/or pull 60-pound loads at a time
  • Must be able to work in all weather conditions
  • Must be able to work up to 8 hours per day
  • Functions autonomously when at the shop with little direct supervision needed once daily tasks assigned
  • Reliable attendance, attention to detail and demonstrate consistent performance and ability to follow directions and to work proactively without direct supervision
  • Ability to see what needs to be done and be proactive on job and in shop
