Responsibilities
- Supervise daily warehouse activities including inventory management, shipping, receiving, and storage procedures to optimize workflow.
- Oversee metal fabrication operations, ensuring projects are completed accurately, on time, and within budget.
- Lead and coordinate fabrication tasks involving sheet metal, pipe threading, plasma cutting, press brake machine operation, and assembly processes.
- Ensure all welding activities—including MIG, TIG, FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding), <LOCATION> welding, and soldering—meet quality standards and safety regulations such as ASME codes & standards.
- Manage the use of power tools, hand tools, rigging equipment, forklifts, and machining tools to support fabrication and warehouse functions.
- Read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to guide fabrication work accurately.
- Maintain strict safety protocols by conducting regular inspections of equipment like cranes and ensuring compliance with OSHA standards.
- Train team members on proper use of calipers, micrometers, schematics interpretation, and basic math skills necessary for precision work.
- Implement process improvements to enhance efficiency in manufacturing workflows and warehouse logistics.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction site operations or manufacturing environments with a focus on metal fabrication.
- Skilled in MIG welding, TIG welding, FCAW welding techniques; experience with <LOCATION> welding is a plus.
- Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and mechanical principles related to fabrication.
- Ability to operate power tools such as plasma cutters, press brakes, hand tools, and machining equipment safely and effectively.
- Familiarity with crane operation and rigging procedures to support heavy lifting tasks.
- Experience with pipe threading and ductwork fabrication is desirable.
- Proficient in using calipers, micrometers, and other measurement tools for quality control.
- Knowledge of ASME codes & standards applicable to metal fabrication projects.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
