Warehouse & Office Services Coordinator
Position Profile
The Warehouse & Office Services Coordinator performs daily shipping, receiving, mail distribution, and office support tasks. This role focuses on accurate and timely execution of duties, strong customer service, and maintaining operational standards under the direction of the Lead or Manager.
Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Receive, scan, and process inbound packages using SCLogic .
- Deliver packages to 20–25 mailstops daily.
- Pick up and prepare outgoing shipments for carrier pickup.
- Sort and distribute inbound/outbound USPS and interoffice mail.
- Notify Lead of issues affecting deliveries or customer satisfaction.
- Assist customers with shipping questions as directed.
- Provide friendly, helpful support during package drop‑off, pickup, or general inquiries.
- Prepare international shipments following established instructions.
- Assist with declarations, commercial documents, and waybills.
- Handle hazardous materials only under Lead direction and after proper certification.
- Restock office and warehouse supplies, DMVI vending machines, and monitor paper/toner levels.
- Perform weekly MFD (multifunction device) cleaning and basic troubleshooting.
- Follow established workflows and all safety procedures.
Qualifications (Education, Experience & Certifications)
- 1–2 years of experience in warehouse, mailroom, office services, or similar field.
- Basic understanding of shipping processes (FedEx, UPS, DHL preferred).
- Ability to lift 50 lbs and perform regular physical tasks.
- High attention to detail, dependability, and strong follow‑through.
- Customer‑service orientation and willingness to learn new systems.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Experience in shipping, receiving, warehousing, or logistics.
- Familiarity with domestic and international shipping practices.
- Ability to lift and maneuver heavy packages safely.
- Strong customer service and problem‑solving mindset.
- Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment with high accuracy.
- HazMat CFR‑49 certification or willingness to obtain certification.
Working Conditions & Physical Demands
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and maneuver packages up to 50 lbs regularly; team‑lifting as needed.
- Extended periods of standing and frequent walking, bending, reaching, and repetitive material‑handling tasks.
- Regular exposure to warehouse and dock environments, including fluctuating temperatures.
- Competency in using material‑handling equipment (pallet jacks, carts, PIT), with a commitment to safe operation.
