Warehouse Officer

The Warehouse Officer is responsible for overseeing the receipt, storage, inventory control, and distribution of materials, supplies, and equipment within the warehouse. This role ensures that stock is accurately recorded, safely stored, and readily available to support operational requirements. The Warehouse Officer plays a key role in maintaining organized warehouse operations, inventory accuracy, compliance with company procedures, and adherence to health and safety standards.

**This job is based in Fujairah, UAE.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • High School Certificate or equivalent (required)
  • Certificate in Warehousing, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management (desirable)
  • Food Handling Certificate (preferred)
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in warehousing, logistics, or inventory control roles
  • Experience using inventory management systems, ERP systems, or warehouse software
  • Experience in receiving, storing, issuing, and tracking materials and supplies
  • Familiarity with stock reconciliation, cycle counting, and inventory audits
  • Experience coordinating with procurement, operations, and suppliers

KEY SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE:

  • Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory, and stock control
  • Familiarity with FIFO/LIFO and safety procedures
  • Good organizational, record-keeping, and time management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and inventory systems
  • Strong attention to detail, communication, and teamwork abilities
  • Physically fit to perform warehouse duties

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming materials, supplies, and equipment against purchase orders and delivery documents
  • Ensure all stock is properly labelled, stored, and organized within designated warehouse locations
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and update stock movements in the inventory management system
  • Monitor stock levels and report shortages, excess stock, or discrepancies to management
  • Conduct regular stock counts, cycle counts, and inventory audits to ensure inventory accuracy
  • Prepare and issue materials, tools, and supplies as requested by departments or authorized personnel
  • Coordinate with procurement and suppliers regarding deliveries, damaged items, or missing materials
  • Ensure proper stock rotation and storage practices are followed to minimize loss or damage
  • Maintain warehouse cleanliness, organization, and compliance with safety standards and company procedures
  • Assist in loading and unloading deliveries when required
  • Prepare warehouse reports, delivery records, stock reports, and documentation as needed
  • Ensure safe handling and storage of materials in accordance with company health and safety regulations
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse efficiency and operations
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management
