Position Summary

We are seeking a reliable and hands-on Operations & Facilities Supervisor to oversee warehouse activity, ensure employee accountability, and manage facility-related operations. This role is essential in maintaining order, upholding company standards, and supporting the safety and functionality of our physical space.

The ideal candidate is observant, disciplined, and professional with experience leading diverse teams with cultural awareness and fairness.


Key Responsibilities

Warehouse & Operations Oversight

  • Monitor employee conduct, attendance, and work habits; address issues such as unauthorized breaks, misuse of equipment, or safety violations
  • Actively support theft prevention and enforce inventory protection protocols
  • Enforce workplace policies, encourage accountability, and maintain a respectful, efficient environment
  • Serve as a bilingual communication bridge between Korean-speaking leadership and Spanish-speaking staff

Facilities & Building Management

  • Ensure the facility is maintained in clean, safe, and operational condition at all times
  • Ensure full compliance with all building safety and regulatory requirements, including scheduling, coordinating, and documenting annual fire system testing, elevator inspections, and other mandated safety checks
  • Conduct routine inspections for hazards, damage, or safety concerns; coordinate necessary repairs and maintenance
  • Support enforcement of safety regulations and compliance with OSHA and internal protocols
  • Monitor building access and implement inventory/security controls to help prevent theft or unauthorized activity
  • Serve as secondary point of contact for warehouse closing procedures, including emergency support during after-hours issues, alarms, or power outages
  • Maintain readiness for emergency situations (e.g., fire, break-ins, accidents) and assist in enforcing response protocols
  • Support recordkeeping related to inspections, incidents, or safety concerns

Reporting & Collaboration

  • Communicate observations and issues clearly to upper management through regular reports
  • Collaborate with the shipping manager and other operational staff to ensure smooth daily workflow
  • Model professional behavior, reliability, and problem-solving under pressure

Qualifications

  • 3+ years experience in warehouse operations, logistics, or facilities supervision
  • Fluency in Korean and English required; Spanish proficiency strongly preferred
  • Must be able to stand/walk for extended periods, and occasionally lift and move up to 50 pounds.
  • Strong understanding of workplace safety standards, theft prevention, and emergency response procedures
  • Comfortable leading diverse teams with cultural awareness and professionalism
  • Ability to work under the direction of younger or long-tenured staff in leadership roles
  • Reliable, detail-oriented, and capable of handling building-related emergencies or unexpected disruptions
