We are growing — and we’re looking for a detail-oriented, motivated professional to join our team as a Warehouse & Purchasing Coordinator.


The Role:

The Warehouse & Purchasing Coordinator plays a key role in supporting BSGI’s operational excellence by managing warehouse logistics, purchasing, and inventory control. This position ensures that materials, equipment, and supplies are accurately procured, received, stored, and distributed to field technicians and project teams on time.

This individual will collaborate closely with Project Managers, Field Technicians, and Accounting to maintain accurate stock levels, source materials efficiently, and keep warehouse operations running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

Warehouse Operations:

  • Must be detail oriented
  • Working closely with BSGI’s service department on work tickets, inventory issues and returns.
  • Receive, inspect, and process incoming shipments and materials
  • Stage, pack, and ship customer and project orders accurately and on time
  • Maintain an organized, clean, and safe warehouse environment
  • Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently
  • Record materials received or distributed using internal software systems
  • Assist in physical inventory counts and maintain accurate stock records
  • Safely operate company vehicles to deliver goods when needed


Purchasing & Inventory Management:

  • Coordinate purchasing activities for equipment, tools, and materials for multiple departments
  • Issue purchase orders, track order status, and follow up with vendors to ensure timely delivery
  • Review pricing, negotiate supplier terms, and seek cost-saving opportunities
  • Maintain inventory levels to support project and service operations
  • Collaborate with Project Managers to forecast material needs and prevent shortages or overstock
  • Reconcile purchase orders, packing slips, and invoices for accuracy
  • Assist with vendor management and maintaining preferred supplier relationships


Who You Are:

You’re a proactive team player who takes pride in organization, accuracy, and efficiency. You enjoy a hands-on role that combines logistics, purchasing, and problem-solving to keep operations running seamlessly.


Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (Associate degree or coursework in business, supply chain, or logistics preferred)
  • 2+ years of experience in a warehouse, purchasing, or inventory management role
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly and operate warehouse equipment safely
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Experience with inventory or ERP software preferred
  • Valid driver’s license and clean driving record


Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for long periods, bend, twist, kneel, or crouch as needed
  • Hand dexterity for handling tools and materials
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs (assisted lifting for heavier items)
  • Mobility to move safely through warehouse and job site environments
