Purpose
Make sure the shop runs smoothly — manage tool inventory, keep equipment ready and in working order, and support field operations.
Position Overview
· Full-time, 40 hours per week
· Drug-free workplace
· Reports to the Vice President

Key Responsibilities
· Maintain clean and orderly work areas
· Communicate with both field and office teams; multitask to manage day-to-day shop operations
· Use computers for email, scheduling, and inventory management
· Perform maintenance on small machines and equipment (oil changes on skid steers, lulls, mini excavators) and take care of facility needs (painting, landscaping, etc.)
· Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service
· Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test, and make adjustments
· Load trailers and restock shelves as needed — organize tools, equipment, and materials for efficiency
· Update inventory daily on the company website
· Use a variety of hand and power tools, and material handling equipment
· Detect and report faulty operations or defective machinery to the supervisor
· Follow all company safety and SOP guidelines
Physical Demands
· Stand, walk, sit, use hands, handle tools, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as needed
· Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
Required Skills & Qualifications
· Strong organization and communication skills
· Basic office computer skills (email, scheduling, inventory software)
· Ability to complete tasks, meet expectations, collaborate, and problem-solve
· Valid driver's license
· Ability to read and write in English (Spanish a plus)
· Demonstrated work ethic: show up on time and work hard
Preferred Experience
· Experience in a warehouse, shop, or similar environment
· Familiarity with construction tools, equipment, and materials
· Mechanical aptitude for equipment maintenance and repair
· Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
Education
· No formal degree required; strong work ethic and relevant experience are most important
