We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Warehouse Stock Controller to manage all inventory-related activities within our warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate stock levels, maintaining proper storage standards, and supporting smooth material movement through effective documentation and coordination. This role requires strong analytical skills, hands-on warehouse experience, and proficiency in inventory management systems and MS Office. The Stock Controller will play a key role in conducting stock counts, verifying records, ensuring safety compliance, and supporting the receiving and dispatch processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct annual stock counts and maintain high inventory accuracy levels.
- Perform surprise checks, spot checks, and verify material stacking to ensure proper storage practices.
- Oversee inventory scrapping processes in line with company policies and documentation requirements.
- Maintain and update records of stock movements, supporting documents, and inventory reports.
- Handle receiving of local and foreign shipments, including verification of quantities and condition.
- Manage all warehouse documentation such as LPOs, Delivery Orders, Invoices, Packing Lists, etc.
- Implement and manage Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) including barcode scanning, grid system, and labeling.
- Organize the warehouse by ensuring neat, accessible, and efficient storage of materials.
- Ensure 100% adherence to safety protocols inside the warehouse at all times.
- Cross-check physical stock with ERP/Inventory system and reconcile discrepancies.
- Oversee packaging, marking, and dispatch of materials for Purchase Orders.
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, logistics providers, and courier companies for timely collection and delivery of materials.
- Optimize storage space utilization and maintain efficient stock flow.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of warehouse or inventory control experience in the UAE or similar environment.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and ERP.
- Experience implementing barcode systems, labeling, and warehouse grid layout is highly preferred.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle fast-paced operations with high accuracy and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of shipping/receiving procedures and documentation.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
