Warehouse store manager / Store Keeper

Core Responsibilities:

• Operational Management: Directing and coordinating the daily activities of the warehouse, including the efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods. This involves optimizing workflows and space utilization.
• Inventory Control: Managing and reconciling stock control systems, ensuring inventory accuracy through regular audits and cycle counts, and minimizing loss or damage.
• Staff Leadership: Recruiting, training, supervising, and motivating warehouse staff. They assign tasks, monitor performance, and ensure productivity targets are met.
• Logistics & Planning: Liaising with suppliers, transport companies, and other departments (like procurement and customer service) to ensure orders are fulfilled on time. They may also be involved in planning delivery schedules.
• Health and Safety: Implementing and enforcing strict health and safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment. This includes regular inspections of equipment and compliance with regulations.
