The Warehouse Supervisor oversees daily warehouse operations, ensuring efficient receiving, storage, inventory control, and dispatch of goods. This role ensures compliance with safety standards, optimizes workflow, and leads a team to achieve operational targets.

Key ResponsibilitiesOperations Management

• Supervise day-to-day warehouse activities including receiving, picking, packing, and shipping.
• Ensure accurate and timely processing of orders and inventory transactions.
• Maintain warehouse layout and ensure optimal utilization of space.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate with procurement to avoid shortages or overstocking.
• Implement and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs).

Team Leadership

• Lead, train, and motivate warehouse staff to achieve productivity and quality goals.
• Prepare shift schedules and assign daily tasks.
• Conduct performance evaluations and support staff development.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and disciplinary standards.

Inventory & Documentation

• Oversee inventory audits, cycle counts, and reconciliation of discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate records in the warehouse management system (WMS) or ERP.
• Prepare operational reports (inventory, productivity, dispatch, etc.).

Safety & Compliance

• Enforce workplace safety guidelines and ensure a clean, hazard-free environment.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, legal regulations, and industry standards.
• Conduct regular safety drills and equipment inspections.

Coordination & Communication

• Liaise with logistics, procurement, production, and customer service teams.
• Resolve order or shipment issues promptly.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse efficiency.

Qualifications & SkillsEducation & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain, business administration, or related field (preferred).
• 3–5 years of warehouse or logistics experience; at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
• Experience with WMS/ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, etc.) is an advantage.

Skills

• Strong leadership and team-management skills.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word).
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks) is a plus.

Working Conditions

• Fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Requires standing, walking, and lifting moderate weights.
• May involve shift or weekend work depending on operations.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
