Job Description
- Food Safety and Compliance: Enforce HACCP, OSHA, and company sanitation standards, including 5S practices, temperature monitoring for chilled/frozen goods, and proper allergen separation.
- Inventory Control: Oversee accurate receipt, inspection, and recording of incoming materials. Conduct regular physical inventory counts, cycle counts, and reconcile differences.
- Shipping & Receiving: Coordinate inbound and outbound Logistics, prioritizing order picking to meet shipping schedules.
- Team Leadership: Train, motivate, coach, and schedule warehouse staff to meet peak demands.
- Equipment & Facility Maintenance: Ensure safe operation of forklifts, pallet jacks, and maintain organized, clean warehouse space.
- KPI Management: Monitor warehouse performance indicators (e.g., accuracy, productivity) and drive improvements to reduce costs
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: Previous supervisory experience in food warehousing, distribution, or manufacturing, usually 3-5 years.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with FDA regulations, food safety regulations (FSMA), and inventory systems (WMS).
- Technical Skills: Proficient in warehouse software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Physical Ability: Ability to work in varying temperatures (coolers/freezers) and perform manual labor (lifting, scanning)
