Warehouse Worker and backup Route Driver

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and physically capable Warehouse Worker to join our team in <LOCATION>. This role involves handling various warehouse operations, including moving goods, operating equipment, and supporting logistical functions. The ideal candidate will have experience with warehouse procedures and a strong work ethic to ensure efficient and safe operations within our facility.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload shipments using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual handling techniques
• Organize and store inventory in designated areas following safety protocols
• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and other heavy machinery as needed
• Assist with shipping and receiving tasks, including preparing items for dispatch or storage
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment to promote safety and efficiency
• Support delivery operations by assisting with loading trucks or shuttle driving when required
• Communicate effectively with team members to coordinate tasks and ensure timely completion of duties
• Assist warehouse manager and impliment his policies and practices on warehouse operations.
• Able to fill in for regular route drivers as needed.

Requirements

• Previous warehouse experience preferred but not required; training will be provided for specific equipment operation
• Valid driver’s license with experience in commercial driving, shuttle driving, or delivery driving is a plus
• Mechanical knowledge or experience operating heavy equipment such as forklifts is advantageous
• Ability to move heavy loads safely and efficiently, including lifting up to 50 pounds regularly
• Strong communication skills for effective teamwork and safety compliance
• Familiarity with commercial vehicles is beneficial
• Reliable transportation for daily commute to <LOCATION>
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and safety standards
• Must be 25 years of age and have clean driving record.

Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour
