Warehouse/Transport Manager

Warehouse Management

• Oversee daily warehouse operations including receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods.
• Maintain accurate stock records and ensure proper inventory control (FIFO, stock rotation, etc.).
• Ensure proper handling, packaging, and labeling of products.
• Monitor and optimize warehouse space utilization and workflow efficiency.

Transport Management

• Plan and manage transportation schedules for timely delivery and dispatch.
• Coordinate with drivers, transport agencies, and logistics partners.
• Ensure compliance with vehicle maintenance, insurance, permits, and regulatory requirements.
• Track deliveries, monitor transit status, and resolve transport-related issues.

Team Supervision

• Supervise warehouse staff, loaders, and drivers.
• Allocate daily tasks and ensure adherence to safety and operational standards.
• Conduct training, attendance monitoring, and performance evaluation of staff.

Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain records of stock, shipments, delivery schedules, GRN, invoices, and transport logs.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on inventory and logistics performance.
• Coordinate with the accounts team for billing, invoices, freight charges, and transport expenses.

Safety & Compliance

• Ensure warehouse safety standards and adherence to SOPs.
• Monitor vehicle safety, driver compliance, and cargo security.

Skills Required

• Strong organizational, planning, and coordination skills.
• Knowledge of logistics, inventory management, and warehouse operations.
• Hands-on experience with MS Excel / ERP / Tally.
• Good communication, leadership, and team management abilities.
• Problem-solving skills to handle supply chain and transport-related issues.

Experience Required

• 5–8 years of experience in Warehouse & Transport Management
• Minimum 3–5 years in FMCG / Grocery warehouse operations preferred
• Proven experience in inventory control, FIFO/FEFO, dispatch planning, and transporter coordination

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
