Warranty Claims Adjuster

Old Republic Insured Automotive Services, Inc. (ORIAS) is looking for a skilled claims adjuster or service advisor to join our team as a claims adjuster. No prior claims experience is required.

What you will do:

As a Warranty Claims Adjuster you are responsible for providing prompt and professional attention to incoming claims calls, adjudicating claims based off of terms and conditions of a mechanical service contract and entering those claims into our claims system.

How you will do it:

• Answer incoming calls from repair shops across the country to initiate vehicle repairs.
• You will utilize your automotive skills and knowledge to negotiate part pricing, labor rate hours, and render an approval or denial of a claim.
• Ensure repair facility utilizes the correct and most economical repair procedure and ensure the timely processing of the claim.

What we look for:

• Automotive Technical degree or equivalent combination of technical knowledge and work experience preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be able to type at least 20 WPM and possess proficient computer skills, must be able to multi-task between different screens and programs.
• Need to be comfortable working in an office environment handling incoming calls.
• High School Diploma or GED
