Key accountabilities
- Responsible for receiving and delivering all guest items on time, accurately, and professionally.
- Inspects all laundry before and after cleaning for dirt, stains, damage, and quality of ironing/folding.
- Keeps the guest laundry room shelves organized and clean.
- Ensures that all items are hung, folded, and stored properly in their designated places.
- Should possess knowledge of fabrics, cleaning tools, chemicals, machine operation, and the ability to provide friendly service to guests.
- Should be able to work in a fast-paced, customer-service-oriented environment; controlled and deadlines should be met on time.
- Should be able to work as part of a team as well as complete tasks independently, follow instructions from supervisors, and use appropriate problem-solving skills.
General requirements
- Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role in a Luxury Hotel environment with similar standards and expectations.
- Knowledge of using cleaning tools, chemicals, machinery and the ability to provide friendly services to guests.
- Must be able to work in a fast paced and customer service-oriented environment; to perform under pressure and meet deadlines in a timely manner.
- Must be able to work as part of a team as well as to complete assignments independently, to take instructions from supervisors, and to exercise proper problem-solving skills.
- Innovative and a natural organiser, highly detailed and able to engage with guests.
- Turkish communication proficiency, and English as a secondary language is preferred.
