JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES (WASHER MAN – MEDICAL & COMMERCIAL)

1. Check all items before processing and coordinate with supervisor for

damages fabric if any.

2. Segregate the fabric as color and white for washing.

3. Stain fabric should be treated separately before inserting in the machine.

4. You will be working in medical laundry. You will work with blood stained

and soiled linen with vomit and excretion.

5. You will handle yellow and red bags in the medical laundry.

6. You will use PPE when working in the medical laundry.

7. As per NHRA regulations, you will be vaccinated and trained to work in the

medical laundry.

8. Check on fabric tag instructions before washing.

9. Items that cannot be machine washed; hand wash them.

10. Must have good knowledge on the chemical programs for better results.

11. Load the fabric as per the capacity of machine.

12. Inform the Supervisor regarding requirements of Chemicals, Starch, etc. well

in advance.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES (HAND PRESSER/STEAM PRESSER)

1. Check all the items before processing.

2. Finish all pressing jobs as per the schedule with quality according to

Martinizing standard.

3. To pass stained items to washer/drycleaners.

4. If any damages found report immediately to Laundry Manager before

processing the items.

5. To coordinate with drycleaners and washer man.

6. Clean pressing machines at the end of every shift, using company-provided

lubricants and cleaning solutions to ensure they are ready for the next day

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES (Other)

1. Steam ironing of coats (jackets) using the Rotary.

2. Sorting and hanging the official dress (uniforms) for the contract, etc.

3. Ironing using a flat iron (roller) for hospital and contracts.

4. Sorting and hanging customers' clothes (Arabic, colored and white clothes).

5. Folding and wrapping blankets, Duvets, towels other items

6. Clean your work site.

7. Use machines with caution and maintain them in accordance with the

instructions issued to you to clean your work site.

8. Assisting in the various works in the laundry in accordance with the tasks

entrusted to you under the instructions of the manager and in carrying out the

duties and works assigned to you by the administration from time to time.

9. Perform other related tasks as assigned by your immediate supervisor/manager

from time to time.

10. Train other staffs and get trained of all laundry operations as required.

Company reserves the right to transfer you to a job of similar nature within the scope

of Company’s activities. And whenever necessary you have to drive company

vehicles.
