WASTE HANDLER

Job Title: Waste Handler

salary: 1420 AED

Contract details: Full-time job

Location: UAE

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect waste materials from designated areas and transport them to the disposal site
• Sort waste materials according to type and dispose of them in the appropriate containers
• Operate and maintain waste collection equipment, such as trucks and compactors
• Ensure all waste materials are handled and disposed of in compliance with company policies and government regulations
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including disposal sites and storage areas
• Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to management
• Assist in the training and supervision of new waste handlers
• Keep accurate records of waste collection and disposal activities
• Follow safety procedures and wear appropriate personal protective equipment at all times
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1-2 years in waste management, preferably in industrial or commercial settings
• Understanding of waste management regulations and procedures
• Ability to operate waste management equipment safely
• Able to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks
• Strong organizational skills and careful handling of tasks
• Good interpersonal skills and able to work effectively with others
