Waste Management Lead Worker

Roles & Responsibilities

• Ensure quality and timely completion of all assigned tasks provided by Waste Management Supervisor and report any safety / operational concern timely.
• Received Permit to work and facilitate the toolbox talk at the job location.
• Ensure safe execution of the work by the technical labors working under his responsibility.
• Understands and apply to plant safety standards and maintenance procedures while performing work.
• Safe and proper care of equipments and tools.
• Maintain all waste movement and data in the waste storage yard.
• Contribute positively to COMPANY HSE programs

Work Experience

• 5 years experience in waste management in the petrochemical plants.
• Knowledge and experience in transportation & handling of hazardous materials.
• Excellent experience with safe systems of work (e.g. PTW, JSA, CSE, HAZCOM, vehicle safety, fire safety, etc)
• Experience in leading waste management team and associated fleet.

Educational / Qualification Requirements

• Adequate knowledge of English language (Speak, Read and Write).
• High School education is minimum.
• HSE certificate (e.g. NEBOSH, BSC, IOSH, etc)
• Excellent knowledge with safe systems of work
• Good understanding of waste management equipment / vehicle’s operations / hazards control

• Doha: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

• waste management in the petrochemical plants: 5 years (Required)

Language:

• English (Speak, Read and Write) (Required)

License/Certification:

• HSE certificate (e.g. NEBOSH, BSC, IOSH, etc) (Required)
• Qatar Driving License (Required)
