Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Waste Management/Housekeeper to join our team at The Woodlands at Furman. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards, managing waste disposal, and ensuring a safe and orderly environment.

Key Responsibilities
POSITION SUMMARY
Performs housekeeping duties throughout the community in accordance with established guidelines as required in community policy and procedures.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The following duties are normal for this position. This list is not to be constructed as exclusive or all inclusive. Other duties may be required and assigned.

• Collects trash and refuse from work areas and places in designated disposal areas.
• Maintains equipment and materials needed to perform work in a clean and orderly condition.
• Drive John Deer Gator with trailer to pick up trash cans.
• Reports on any repairs needed to the Housekeeping Supervisor.
• Reports supply and equipment needs to Housekeeping Supervisor for replenishing.
• Duty of servicing Pet Waste Stations and Site trash collection.
• Must be able to work in all weather conditions outside (rain, wind, heat, cold).
• Uses walk-behind floor scrubber to clean floors.
• Sweeps, mops, dust, and wipes down different areas around the building.
• Clean carpets.
• Other duties assigned by the Supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills and abilities required. REQUIREMENTS AND EXPERIENCE

• Previous waste management experience preferred.
• Must have valid Driver’s License along with a clean driving record.
• Must pass background and drug screening.
