Waste Sorting Property Porter ( Arbor Heights)

Job Summary
The Porter will be assigned to a client property (an apartment complex) located in Tigard, OR. The Porter is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, functionality, and overall curb appeal of the property. This role is property-based and focuses on consistent on-site service, including waste sorting, bin management, trash room upkeep, chute maintenance, and janitorial support in common and office areas. The Porter works independently on-site and represents Copia Resources professionally to property staff and residents.

Duties

• Sort trash, recycling, and compost into designated bins
• Walk and service upper-floor trash rooms
• Unclog trash chutes as needed
• Push and stage bins
• Use onsite golf cart for authorized bin movement
• Maintain cleanliness of trash enclosures and rooms
• Sweep and mop trash rooms three times per week
• Clean offices and restrooms three times per week
• Empty trash and recycling receptacles in common and office areas
• Empty and replace pet waste receptacle bags three times per week
• Perform weekly floor cleaning in common areas, stairways, fitness center, patios, and hallways
• Maintain property curb appeal and cleanliness
• Identify and report bulk items, contamination, or safety issues
• Follow property-specific service notes and expectations

Requirements

• Ability to work a consistent schedule of Monday - Friday from 8:00am - 2pm
• Ability to lift 50–75+ lbs repeatedly
• Ability to push and pull wheeled bins
• Comfortable walking multiple floors
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to communicate via text, email, and photo messaging
• Professional demeanor while on client property
• Janitorial or porter experience a plus, not required

Pay: $21.50 per hour
