Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated Waste Sorting Property Porter Driver to join our team at HillsDale Gardens. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for safely transporting waste materials, maintaining cleanliness across the property, and supporting recycling efforts. Your energetic approach will help keep the property organized, compliant, and environmentally friendly.

Duties

• Safely operate waste collection vehicles to transport recyclables and waste materials within the property
• Perform routine cleaning duties, including trash removal, sweeping, mopping, and floor care to maintain a pristine environment
• Assist with sorting waste and recyclables according to established procedures
• Conduct inspections of designated areas to ensure cleanliness and proper waste segregation
• Support facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or custodial duties as needed
• Ensure all safety protocols are followed during transportation and cleaning activities
• Maintain accurate logs of waste pickups, cleaning schedules, and safety checks

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Valid driver's license.
• Clean driving record of at least 2 yrs (1 point or less with approval from company's car insurance)
• Able to work the following shift: Sunday - Thursday 4am - 12:30pm
• Ability to repetitively lift 75+ lbs (furniture, appliances, household items)
• Ability to push and pull a wheeled bin weighing 600+ lbs.
• Follows instructions from Senior Drivers / Field Operations Admin / Route Supervisors while working quickly and efficiently
• Able to drive/maneuver a trailer
• Must work well with others and represent Copia Resources Inc professionally
• Ability to send emails, text messages and picture messages by cell phone
• Ability to make decisions and think outside of the box
• Experience with waste management is a plus (NOT required)
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus but NOT REQUIRED

Pay: $22.00 per hour
