WATER FLOW METER TECHNICIAN

1. Installation Work

• Install water flow meters on pipelines as per technical drawings and specifications
• Ensure correct alignment, direction, and positioning of meters
• Connect mechanical and electrical components where required

2. Maintenance & Servicing

• Perform routine inspection and preventive maintenance of flow meters
• Clean, calibrate, and service meters to ensure accurate readings
• Replace faulty or worn-out parts

3. Calibration & Testing

• Calibrate flow meters using standard testing equipment
• Verify accuracy of flow readings and adjust settings if needed
• Conduct pressure and leakage tests when required

4. Troubleshooting & Repairs

• Diagnose faults in mechanical, ultrasonic, electromagnetic, or digital flow meters
• Repair or replace damaged sensors, transmitters, or wiring
• Resolve issues related to inaccurate readings or system failure

5. Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain service logs, calibration records, and maintenance reports
• Report defects, failures, and repair work to supervisors or engineers
• Update installation and testing data accurately

6. Site Work & Safety Compliance

• Follow HSE (Health, Safety & Environment) procedures on site
• Work in pipelines, water networks, and industrial plant environments safely
• Use PPE and ensure compliance with company safety standards

7. Coordination

• Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and project teams
• Support commissioning activities for new water systems
• Assist in system upgrades or modifications

Pay: AED2,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
