Service Technician / Route Sales Representative (Field-Based)

Job Type: Full-time | Schedule: 8-hour days, Mon–Fri; On-call: one weekend per month

What You’ll Do

• Service, sanitize, and maintain reverse-osmosis (RO) refill equipment on an assigned route.
• Replace filters, UV lamps, membranes, pumps, valves, and fittings; perform leak/pressure checks and basic water-quality testing (e.g., TDS).
• Read and record machine meters for billing; document work/parts and upload photos/notes on a company tablet.
• Perform light plumbing (PVC/PEX/fittings) and basic low-voltage electrical diagnostics to identify and correct issues.
• Keep equipment rooms neat, compliant, and properly labeled (decals/signage); follow all safety and sanitation procedures.
• Drive a company vehicle safely; stock tools, filters, and parts so you’re prepared for each day’s route.
• Provide professional, courteous service to store teams; show them who to contact for support.
• Support growth as a Route Sales Rep: identify opportunities, drop brochures, and submit qualified leads for commission.
• Participate in a rotating on-call schedule for urgent issues.

What You Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Hands-on mechanical aptitude; 1+ year in field service, maintenance, trades, or similar preferred.
• Comfortable with hand/power tools; able to measure and cut accurately.
• Basic plumbing and/or electrical knowledge (we’ll train you on our systems).
• Organized, reliable, and customer-focused; strong verbal communication and time-management.
• Able to lift/move 50 lbs and work at heights of 10 ft+ using ladders/lifts (indoor backroom/cooler environments).
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Must pass a background check and basic pre-employment physical.

Nice to Have (Bonus Points): RO/water treatment experience, pump/valve troubleshooting, reading wiring diagrams, PEX/PVC install, scissor-lift use, forklift/pallet jack, retail/customer-service experience.
